Recent wine-buying took us to the Langhe in northern Italy's Piedmont. The Langhe is a territory of hills ranging 400 to 800 meters in height near the Alps and lying between the Tanaro and Bormida rivers. Langhe, whose orbit is the charming city of Alba, is a culture and spirit as much as a place and is the home of Nebbiolo.
