The volume, intensity and sheer hedonistic pleasure of this wine's bouquet is so astonishing it cannot be communicated in words but must be experienced to be understood. It is huge and exuberant with a panoply of aromas: liqueur of raspberry and cassis, blackcherry, violets and spice box with an undercurrent of road tar. It is a big and beautifully made wine with a deft balance of highly detailed fruit with ripe tannins. The flavors persist throughout the long finish.
