The color is very dark ruby, almost black - typical of the 2001's. The sweet musky blackfruit perfume of Syrah is provocative and unmistakable here. A note of lychee nut underlies the fruit scents. In the mouth the flavor is concentrated, expansive and delicious with excellent length at the finish.
